Giving is Christmas…

THANK YOU to all of you that gave to Meals-on-Wheels this past Christmas season! Whether you donated your time, money, or both, you have helped provide food and love to your homebound neighbors.

Everyone that is a part of Meals-on-Wheels--individual donors, businesses, volunteers, Board and staff—all working together, makes what we do possible. Without your dedication and labor of love, we would not be able to serve those most in need.

The Holidays highlight the giving spirit, but our needs continue everyday--all year long. And, 2005 will prove to be no different. This year we anticipate the numbers of those we serve to be larger than those of past years. This is largely due to the fact that we are all living longer, although many of us can no longer care for ourselves. Obviously, with this increase in the number of meals and people we serve, the challenges of Meals-on-Wheels will rise as well.

Regardless if it’s the Holiday Season or not: “every time we love, every time we give, it’s Christmas!” said, Dale Evans Rogers. And, it is true: You help make it Christmas all year long here at Meals-on-Wheels!
